Why strategy comes before the market
Many inventors invest heavily in filing and prosecution, then discover that the path to market is controlled by a handful of large companies, that manufacturing requires partners they do not have, or that defending the patent would cost more than the business can afford. The Pre-Patent Pre-Partnering approach addresses these issues early. It asks you to set your business strategy realistically for your industry and, where it makes sense, to seek a major partner when the project is ready instead of building mainly for a takeover.

- First contact Send us a short, non-confidential message through the contact form or by email, or order a service directly from the shop.
- Scope and fit We confirm what you need, which service fits best, and whether a non-disclosure agreement is required before any detailed discussion.
- Confidentiality first Where confidential information is involved, an appropriate NDA is put in place before you share technical details.
- Information gathering You share the materials we need, such as a project summary, prototype status, public patent documents and your goals. We may ask follow-up questions.
- Work and delivery We carry out the agreed work and deliver the session, report or program materials within the timeframe confirmed when we accept the engagement.

We are not a law firm, and our services are not legal advice. We do not draft or file patent applications, give formal patentability or freedom-to-operate opinions, or represent clients in legal proceedings. For those tasks, please work with a registered patent attorney or agent. Our role is strategic: helping you understand your industry, prepare your project and approach partners wisely. We also make no promises about patent grants, partnerships, investment or commercial results, because those depend on many factors outside anyone’s control.
Confidentiality
Early-stage inventions are fragile. Public disclosure before filing can affect patent rights in many countries, and an idea shared carelessly can be hard to protect. For that reason:
- Please do not send confidential details in your first message or order notes.
- Where detailed discussion is needed, we agree on a non-disclosure agreement first.
- We use the information you share only to deliver the service you requested.
- You decide what is shared with any potential partner, and when.
